At the age of 14, I took on my first large painting project. From that point forward, I acknowledged that painting was no easy work. A few years later, I graduated from Millbrook High and later attended Wake Technical College.
I had mostly sales jobs early in my career. Ferguson Enterprises is a place that I could never forget. There, I worked my way up from the warehouse to counter sales. But even then, I felt that something was missing. It was at that moment, I knew, I wanted to run something of my own!
With my first painting project in mind, I received an entry-level painting position with a local painting contractor. There is where I first gained sight of A Touch of Color. I saved enough capital to start up the business, and I have not turned back since.
We started off primarily offering painting services, but that didn’ t last long! Many of our clients needed additional services that directly related to painting. Only after our second year, we decided to provide other services such as siding and exterior trim replacement. After getting proper licensing from the North Carolina Licensing Board for general contactors, we aimed to improve the experience of our clients by offering even more services.
